Pitt Meadows, Canada Childcare Centre - Maple Ridge Full time

Licensed group childcare centre is currently looking to add a full time Early Childhood Educator to our team This is a Monday to Friday position in a 3-5 program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 30 months to 5 years
- Collaborate, develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social development
- Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour
- Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services
- Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child’s day
- Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently
- Maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and well-being of children

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required
- Valid First Aid Certification
- First Aid Certificate
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- References
