**SUMMARY**

The research assistants are going to work closely with the research team of the SSRCH funded project “Resolving Temporal and Operational Expressions of Motivation and Cognition”.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Literature Search and Database Management: Conduct literature searches using online
databases and maintain the research database.
- Conduct Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on relevant topics and synthesize findings for research projects.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of research data using appropriate methodologies and software tools.
- Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and manage research data in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Attend Research Meetings: Participate in research meetings to share progress and contribute to discussions.
- Participant Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of research participants, which may involve reaching out to potential participants, distributing recruitment materials, and coordinating scheduling for other data collection.
- Draft Research Reports: Help in preparing research reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Support Project Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of research procedures, findings, and results.
- Support Research Projects: Collaborate with the research team to support ongoing research projects and contribute to the development of research proposals.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Current KPU students, preferably Psychology students
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, faculty, and other team members on research projects
- Proficiency in using research tools and data collection tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, entry, and analysis to ensure reliable research outcomes
- Prior experience in academic or applied research, either through coursework or involvement in research projects, is desirable
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to assist in writing research reports, presenting findings and communicating with team members

**SALARY INFORMATION**

Anticipated hourly rate: $18
