Western Truck Body Mfg., a subsidiary of Federal Signal, has been a leader in the manufacturing of custom aluminum service truck bodies and accessories for over 60 years.

Are you tired of out of town work? Do you have good trouble shooting skills? We have the job for you Western Truck Body Mfg. is a busy custom manufacturing shop located in Southeast Edmonton. We have an immediate opening for a mechanically inclined person for a full time, permanent position in our Refurb Dept.

Install requirements:
PTO Installation
Install experience with Service Bodies, Tommy Gate, Dump Bodies, Decks and Hitches

Must have repair experience with:
Service body repairs/Refurbish service bodies
Hydraulic system repair - understand schematics and Installation
Welding repair and fabrication skills using steel and aluminum
Crane repair/various brands
Knowledge of stand-alone compressor and generator systems

**Requirements**:
JM HET an asset
Strong mechanical and welding skills are necessary
Knowledge of late model vehicle electrical systems
Knowledge of DOT standards
Understand 12V Wiring schematics
Good verbal and written skills

Enjoy working in a team environment but must also able to work with mínimal supervision
Strong ability to think outside the box - ability to build without drawings
Own tools

References a must

**Salary**: Competitive wage, dependent on experience
Comprehensive Health Care Pkg. after 90 days

Permanent Monday to Friday 8 hour day shifts, occasional overtime

Full benefit package after 90 days
