**The Opportunity**
The Full-Time Chick Room Lab position is responsible for preparing and assisting in administrating vaccines to baby chickens based on customer needs, as well as assisting in hatchery production.

**The primary shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday**
**.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Grading chicks on chick line
- Stacking Orders
- Sexing as required
- Adhering to vaccination requests
- Vaccine handling and appropriate preparation to keep flow with chick room production
- Managing weekly vaccine inventory
- Mixing vaccine to appropriate dosage requirements
- Maintaining vaccine equipment and lab as per HACCP and biosecurity requirements
- Follow all procedures on proper storage and handling of Vaccine/chemicals
- Flexibility to stay late if needed and help in other departments

**Job Requirements**:

- Able to complete required skill testing prior to hire
- Ability to read/write in English
- Must have the ability to work independently and self-directed
- Must be capable of standing for long periods
- Must be capable of lifting 40lbs. Repetitively (overhead lifting required)
- Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to follow SOP’S & schedules
- Must adhere to HACCP requirements
