**Job Description - Delivery Driver / Swamper**

This position requires you to have geographical knowledge of the Lower Mainland understand and identify multiple types of construction materials, load and unload deliveries, garbage runs to multiple waste facilities, handle strict delivery timelines, adapt and problem solve with Management.

**Skills, Knowledge & Requirements**
- 1 - 3 years professional experience driving a Hino Cube truck
- Experience driving a Hino Roll Off Dump truck would be an asset
- Class 5 or higher driver’s license required plus use of own vehicle
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in a variety of weather and road conditions
- Knowledge of industry standards/materials preferred
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Excellent time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Available to work Monday to Friday from 5am to 2pm or as necessary to complete daily schedule
- Occasional weekends, nights, holidays, and out of town work
- Basic computer skills

**Responsibilities**
- Go to different jobsites to clean and organize materials for easier haul-outs
- Deliver small materials to jobsites with own vehicle
- Scheduling with Project Coordinator for daily deliveries
- Perform a pre-trip inspection prior to leaving warehouse
- Pick up and return of materials, tools, and equipment to and from suppliers
- Manually load and unload materials, tools, and equipment with the use of ramps, elevators, and/or stairs
- Ensure load is properly secured, protected, and strapped in place
- Log tools & equipment inventory delivered to job sites in Basecamp
- Meet all schedules and deadlines in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicate with Project Coordinator if deliveries can not be completed on time
- Ensure debris haul-out protocols are followed when it comes to disposal
- Complete inventory tracking log when pulling stock and restocking from warehouse
- Make sure all materials, tools, and equipment are returned to the warehouse, accounted for, and restocked
- Make sure stock items in the warehouse are not diminished
- Report unsafe tools and/or equipment to Project Coordinator or Management
- Maintain and clean truck regularly, monitor maintenance schedule, and refuel at end of each day as required
- Clean and organize warehouse, tools, equipment, and building perimeter
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols and safe work practices
- Submit all paperwork to the office daily
