**Immediate superior: Store Manager**

**SUMMARY**

Under the general direction of the Store Manager, this role is responsible for the coordination and execution of the Natural Food Pantry receiving activities, Inventory management and stocking of shelves

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory Management Natural Food Pantry
- Manage inventory locations and accuracy
- Ensure strategies and procedures are in place to accurately manage orders and receiving
- Steward inventory management policies
- Ensure inventory integrity.
- Complete and document regular cycle counts and audits for all inventory locations as prescribed
- Material tracking and coordination (shipping & receiving) of any items requiring repairs
- Steward cost saving measures on materials and man-hours
- Works closely with accounting ensure required information is accurate and timely.
- Training and procedure development in relation to inventory management.
- Coordination of maintenance of warehouse equipment
- Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts to ensure inventory integrity.
- Reporting - Inventory status, ownership, movements, changes
- Ensure highest quality of consumables food safety procedures
- Steward Warehouse building safety and housekeeping
- Support field procurement, sales and office management roles, if required
- Backfill field purchaser role during vacation periods
- Training and support for all warehouse employees
- Steward strong relations with clients, drivers, partners and their respective companies
- Support store stocking activities
- Deliveries to other stores and clients

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completed High School Diploma;
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industrial function;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Quick and efficient at data entry with inventory management
- Good understanding of procurement and inventory control
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset, but not mandatory

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

**Location**:
The Shipper/Receiver will mainly be based natural Food Pantry Barrhaven, but may be required to support the Natural Food Pantry’s other locations from time to time. This position requires non-slip steel toe (or CSA equivalent approved) shoes at your own expense.

Physical Demands:
This position will spend most hours standing, with some administrative duties. There will be repetitive lifting (under 50lbs) of supplies and materials on a regular basis.
