Lindsay, Canada Water Depot Full time

Water Depot Lindsay is seeking a responsible individual to fill a full-time (35-40 hours per week) weekday and weekend manager position. This is a great position for a mature individual who enjoys ensuring customer satisfaction, can take initiative, and is able to multitask. This position will require working closely with the store supervisor to ensure that the Retail Store's goals and objectives are met. The successful applicant must possess the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team, pleasantly interact with the public, as well as a moderate level of physical fitness (i.e. must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs of water and carry them a short distance).

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations.
- Creating the store's schedule for staff
- Send biweekly timesheets for payroll.
- Order & manage inventory.
- Assist with interviews & hiring staff.
- Manage the charitable water donation program.
- Keep track of and report monthly water testing & housekeeping sheets.
- Deliver exceptional general customer service including walk-in clients, sales support, etc.
- Carry out of water jugs, salt, and other in-store products as required by the customer.
- POS transactions, including over-the-counter product sales, and collecting/ posting bill payments to customer accounts.
- Re-stocking of product as required.
- Follow daily & monthly housekeeping sheets.
- Perform close/open shift responsibilities as required. Ensure all paperwork is complete and put into its proper location.
- Complete a full check of door closures/locking prior to completing each shift.
- Lead generation.
- Additional duties and requests to help maintain the general overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
- Daily Water Testing & Reporting.
- Delegates tasks to the supervisor or other staff as needed
- Assists supervisor with any tasks if needed
- Works with social media manager as needed

**Requirements**:

- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team
- Leadership experience and ability to drive team success
- Effective communication with team and senior management
- High energy, enthusiastic, and a drive to succeed
- High school education
- Fundamental computer skills
- Physical qualifications include the ability to work long hours standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching above shoulder height, and stooping/bending/crouching
- This job requires the ability to work flexible hours which may include nights, weekends shifts, and to support staff off-hours (phone calls)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
