Daycare Cook

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks for our licensed daycare serving **219 children**. Our center follows all AHS (Alberta Health Services) standards and regulations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff alike.

**What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to our approved menu and AHS guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Wash dishes and perform light cleaning duties related to meal prep
- Manage food inventory and assist with grocery lists/orders
- Support a positive and collaborative workplace culture

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience**: Minimum **2 years of cooking experience** (childcare, school, or healthcare setting preferred)
- **Certification**: Valid **Food Safe / SafeCheck / Food Handler certificate** (required by start date)
- **ECE Level 1**: or willingness to obtain your **Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1**:

- **Personality**: Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working in a child-centered environment
