Bombay Zaika is a new Indian street food trailer serving authentic, flavorful dishes across Metro Vancouver. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our kitchen crew.

Position: Part-Time Cook / Kitchen Helper
Potential: May increase to full-time based on performance and business needs
Wage: $18/hour to start (salary increases based on strong performance and initiative)

Location: Metro Vancouver (mobile food trailer)

Key Responsibilities: - But not limited too
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
Maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation protocols
Restock ingredients and supplies
Help with trailer setup and closing duties
Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by the owner/manager

**Requirements**:
FOODSAFE Level 1 certification Or willing to take it before hiring (mandatory)
Previous kitchen experience preferred
Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods
Willingness to work long or flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings*
must have their own Reliable transportation
Familiarity with SOPs, cleaning checklists, and temperature logs is a strong asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
*Strong attention to *cleanliness, organization, and efficiency

Bonus (Priority Hiring):
Class 5 Driver’s License
Willingness to drive the trailer to and from events
