Optometric Assistant

Our busy Kingston optometry offices are looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant to join our growing team. This is a multi-faceted, patient-focused role where you’ll work directly with patients to deliver an exceptional eye care experience.

**About the Role**

As an Optometric Assistant, you’ll be an important part of our patient journey. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Scheduling appointments and processing payments/insurance through our practice management system
- Answering phone calls and responding to online inquiries
- Performing pre-testing and diagnostic testing to prepare patients for their exams
- Assisting in our frame gallery with frame selection, fitting, and dispensing eyewear
- Supporting dry eye treatment services using InMode technology, helping patients find relief and improve eye comfort

**Details**
- **Location**: Concession Street, Kingston & Innovation Drive, Kingston
- **Schedule**: Full-time, with some Saturday hours required
- **Experience**: Previous experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person A background in health sciences, nursing, optometry, ophthalmology, or related fields is especially valuable.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
