Lead Supply Planner

The Lead Supply Planner role ensures there is optimal inventory levels in the various channels to ultimately meet the needs of the customer in a cost-effective way and provide leadership and guidance to a team of Supply Planners. The managed product is customer premise equipment (CPE), mobile devices and accessories. This position will work closely with the cross functional groups (Product, Sales, Care and Field Operations) to collaborate and ensure inventory availability and optimization.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Responsibility to mentor and lead Supply Planners on the team related to supply chain concepts and processes as well as completing annual performance reviews and feedback.
- Sales Channel Supply Plan - assists with development of inventory supply plan to support the sales channels for multiple lines of business with the key stakeholders through collaboration with Supply Chain, Product, Marketing, Retail and Suppliers to ensure product lead times, product positioning changes, product promotions, store issues and forecasted demand are fully factored into the supply plan.
- Inventory Replenishment - For ensuring inventory is in the right place at the right time within the supply chain through timely requisitioning inventory replenishment, expediting open purchase orders, pushing inventory to the sales channels and redistributing inventory within the sales channels.
- Inventory Reporting and Control - providing accurate inventory reporting to various business departments with Eastlink to ensure visibility to the business and throughout the sales channels. For identifying slow moving and or distressed inventory as well as recommended actions, ensuring financial system of record is updated daily and inventory reconciliations are performed to ensure systems are synced.
- Responsible for supporting system integration and understanding transaction types and file types that maintain the Supply Chain at Eastlink.
- Reverse logistics - maintain flow of inventory returns, refurbishing/recycling, and disposal.
- Inventory Counts - ensure inventory monthly count programs to ensure accuracy as well as appropriate actions concerning system adjustments and inventory shrink.
**Requirements**:
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
- College/University Business Degree & SCMP designation preferred
- Research skills, financial analysis modeling for making commercial value judgements and problem solving
- Demonstrate a good verbal, written and listening skills, in interactions with the business groups and contractors.
- Demonstrate solid ability to lead a team of Planners.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of customer requirements and priorities, maintain communications link between end users and vendors, strong ability to interact with management/union and staff.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality of information.
