**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in French for students in Grades 1-12.
- Assess each student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and learning style to develop tailored lesson plans.
- Explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs.
- Assist students with French grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and pronunciation.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to excels.
- Provide feedback and strategies to help students improve and build their confidence.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required; a degree or coursework in French or Education is an asset.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly with students in Grades 1-12, is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to explain concepts in an engaging and relatable way.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning styles and needs.
- Commitment to upholding the Cambridge Learning Services standard of excellence.
