**Summary**:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring schedules of our production processes and making sure that all deadlines are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing staff
- Develop production schedules
- Determine equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Negotiate and review supplier quotes and issue purchase order as required.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Manage relationships with outside processors.
- Inventory control of raw materials.
- Providing quotes, accepting orders, and following up with customers.
- Support resolution of customer complaints.
- Consults with the General Manager on production of “special” parts.
- Works with internal departments to ensure work order matches customer’s request.
- Maybe expected to be part of special projects as reasonably required.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as production planner
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Familiarity with ISO/QS 9000 standards.
- SolidWorks and Auto CAD an asset.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Aptitude for process management customer/supplier relationship management.
- High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings.
- Ability to work under pressure.
