**Required Qualifications**:
Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
You are kind and compassionate-this position is responsible for cleaning in the Operating Room (Surgery) and MDRD (Medical Device Reprocessing Department. You may be required to cover during Statutory and Lieu Holidays. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Possess good time management skills, able to follow directions, work to deadlines and has attention for detail. Capable to meet the physical demands of the position; frequently required to lift weights up to 30 pounds (13.6 kg). Strong interpersonal skills and training in customer relations. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines. High standards for cleanliness and sanitation. Good attention to detail. Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and high levels of honesty and integrity. Provide a clear Criminal Records Check. Competent computer skills a good portion training and education is on-line. Ability to perform specialized cleaning procedures in isolation areas: OR, patient rooms, isolation rooms, etc. training provided.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
WHMIS training preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in a health care setting an asset. High School Diploma preferred.
