**Qualifications**:

- Secondary School Diploma preferred
- Experience in customer service or working with seniors preferred
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education

**Skills**:

- Cooperative team player
- Ability to speak, read and write English and to follow oral and written directions
- Understanding and empathy for the needs of seniors
- Computer literate

**Areas of Responsibility**:
Provide support to Personal Support Workers in caring for the residents, which may include:

- making beds, putting resident clothing away
- portering to meals, delivering trays and meal set up for residents
- assisting care staff with lifts as the spotter
- stocking tub rooms, care supplies
- removing soiled laundry, garbage
- assisting residents to programs, walking, engaging in conversation
- answering call bells and seeking appropriate level of staff support
- labeling personal items
- tidying bedside tables, closets, care areas
- performing other tasks as assigned

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
