**Job Description**:
**WHAT'S THE JOB?**

Marek Hospitality is a Canadian company that specializes in providing on-site food services. Our teams of culinary and hospitality professionals share a passion for great food and service. We celebrate culinary achievement, encourage creativity, and challenge and reward our people for outstanding work. We are currently recruiting for a General Help to join our café team. This role will provide an exceptional experience, creating great food while going above and beyond for our guests.

**The Position will...**
- Assist within our Café, Catering and Tim Hortons when needed.
- Assist in the preparation of food items to be cooked as well as creating ready to eat dishes such as sandwiches
- Make sure the café is fully stocked and customers are able to easily find what they are looking for
- Engage customers with exceptional customer service, accurately receiving and processing their orders while making them feel welcome
- Maintain the cleanliness of the location, ensuring a safe and sanitary dining experience
- Assist as necessary for any other duties that arise out of business needs
- Follow the policies and standards of Marek Hospitality while adhering to food safety/sanitation legislation

**Qualifications**:
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

**The competencies and qualifications needed...**
- Experience in food service and cash handling
- Certifications as required to comply with local Health codes
- Ability to lift (10kg.), pull & push heavy loads & be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
- A high level of attention to detail with organizational skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
