**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with clients
- Advocate for and support clients’ individual needs and goals
- Implement effective, individualized behaviour management strategies
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment to help clients reach their full potential
- Provide timely response and support in crisis situations
- Complete accurate and thorough clinical documentation after each visit
- Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with team members
- Attend and participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet urgent client needs

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the social service sector
- Proven ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and complex behaviours (including personal care)
- Knowledge of Behaviour Skills Training, teaching replacement behaviours, task analysis, prompt fading, and identifying functions of behaviour
- Strong collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to obtain a clear and current Vulnerable Sector Check

**Preferred**:

- Additional training in behaviour management/modification
- CPI or Safe Management Group certification
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including on-call or crisis response

**Education Requirements**:
Graduate of a recognized diploma or degree program in one of the following (or a related field):

- Social Service Work (SSW)
- Developmental Service Work (DSW)
- Child and Youth Care/Work (CYC/CYW)
- Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA)
- Psychology
- Social Work (BSW)
- Personal Support Worker (PSW)

**Job Details**:

- **Pay**: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
