The Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology offers comprehensive programs in design, engineering technologies, information and communication technologies and skilled trades and apprenticeship. With over 37 programs offered across a span of applied technology industries we are preparing our students for careers of the future. **Position Title**: Placement Advisor
**Status**: Contract, Temporary Part Time (12 Months)
**Hours**: 24Hrs / Weekly
**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology
**Campus/Location**: North campus
**Salary**: $29.88 (Min) to $34.63 (Max) (EPEW Grid Band 8)

**Education**
Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, IT or Engineering

**Experience**
Minimum of 2-3 years in one or more of the following areas: college coop or field placement, human resources, staffing/recruitment or employment services

**Skills**
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and project planning skills
- Able to communicate effectively with a diverse student population and at all levels in an employer organization
- A goal/results focused individual, with the ability to balance and manage competing priorities in a high volume placement environment, and work with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to listen, empathize, problem solve, exercise good judgment, work with interruptions, and resolve conflicts
- Administrative and document tracking skills, attention to detail and accuracy Strong computer skills (MS Office, Contact Management Systems; Experience
