**MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN**

The Courts of St. James is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible to perform various repairs & maintenance to the property as well as individual suite work requests, pool testing and minor locksmith duties, and ensuring pathways are clear in winter months. In addition, working with the Building Operator on preventative maintenance of assets and other items that may arise.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in general maintenance in a Residential, Commercial environment.
- Sound knowledge of building systems, low voltage life safety systems, and emergency procedures.
- Must follow and understand company safety training and protocol.
- Experience with minor electrical, minor plumbing, general rough/finishing carpentry, HVAC and general maintenance skills (drywall, patching & painting)
- Maintaining adequate levels of materials & supplies (inventory control).
- On-call rotation every 5-6 weeks (when on call shift change is 6 am-2:30 pm on Monday & Thursday)
- Must have vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work as a team or individually. Work in a fast-paced environment.
- You are required to have your own CSA steel toe footwear.
- Able to drive small utility tractor.
- Microsoft office and PC knowledge.

The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, On Call (see rotation description).
