**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain FP&A, the Manager, Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will support our Transportation, Warehousing and Purchasing departments, and can be based out of the Halifax or Mississauga office. The successful incumbent will have one direct report and must operate with mínimal supervision and be able to prioritize and work to meet deadlines.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide analytical support to the Transportation, Warehousing and Purchasing teams including rate / volume analysis, financial impacts of decisions and recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Gather, analyze and report financial results and insights to department leads and leadership. Identify reasons for variances versus expectations.
- Calculate, review and communicate T&W rates to be used throughout the organization for pricing and other decisions.
- Continuous improvement project savings tracking.
- Lead the annual budget planning, forecasting and other corporate financial requirements for T&W and Purchasing.
- Drive internal process improvements and controls; continually identify opportunities for improvement to allow the team to perform best-in-class analytics.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related area.
- At least 3 years in an analytical Finance role with previous experience in the Supply Chain area.
- Professional accounting designation considered an asset.
- Previous people leadership experience considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic and financial modeling skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and regulations.
- An ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Communicates with positive outlook, and proactive attitude minimizing negative behaviors.
**High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly** We offer a Flexible Hybrid Work Model where corporate office employees have the flexibility to choose a minimum of two office days per week, with the option to work wherever they prefer (office or remote) for the remainder of the week.
