We exist to help People, Businesses and Communities **Do More, Be More, and Achieve More**. - Positive, un-big bank like service experience delivered through Member-facing staff in branch, on the phone (Member-Connect) and via our Mobile mortgage specialists, Wealth Management advisors and Commercial and Business Banking Account Managers. - Competitive rates. - Personalized financial solutions, guidance, and service with the lowest possible fees for both Personal and Business Members. - Profit sharing among Members. - Multiple ways to bank—online, mobile app, phone/full-service Member Connect Contact Centre, and, of course, in-branch—DUCA is accessible 24/7 A career with one of Canada’s fastest growing credit unions means you’ll find endless opportunities to make a difference with your unique abilities and perspectives. **Our people live their purpose while helping others Do more, Be more and Achieve more with their money and their lives.** At DUCA, you’ll be part of a vibrant and collaborative team where you’ll be supported to excel and make an impact, no matter what role you play. **Business Banking Associate** **DUCA is looking for a Business Banking Associate t**o join our growing team** **Job Purpose & Summary** **Key Accountabilities & Duties** - Conduct credit reviews of existing Members and maintain annual reviews/renewals at or below targeted levels. - Coordinate with internal and external partners to facilitate the on-going management of credit facilities. - Generate referrals for more complex needs to appropriate Business Banking or Commercial team members. - Communicate with Business Lending clients on a day-to-day basis, responding to questions and inquiries regarding products, services and advice. - Assist with portfolio management duties and other day-to-day duties. - Adhere to compliance and audit guidelines in accordance with policies and procedures. - Organize and maintain shared files. **Occupational Experience & Education Requirements** - Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics or related discipline is considered an asset. - 2-4 years’ experience in financial services with prior experience interacting with small business (business banking) clients or business activities. - Previous experience in credit writing. - Previous experience and/or understanding of financial statement analysis. **Knowledge, Skills & Attributes** - Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and working to become a Business Banking Account Manager. - Passionate about providing excellent Member service and helping others to achieve their goals. - Strong analytical skills required. - Proven customer service skills. - Time management and organizational skills. - Strong analytical skills required. - Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Strong attention to detail. - Problem solving and issue resolution skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Effective team player and ability to work well within a group setting. **Working Conditions** Regular travel between branches throughout the GTA. **Department**:Commercial Finance **Primary Location**:Corporate Office - 5255 Yonge Street, North York, M2N 5P8 **Employment Status**:Full-Time **Hours per Week**:38 **Salary**:The annual salary range for this position starts at $57,857. Actual annual base salaries will vary depending on relevant job-related factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and education/training.
