**Shipping and Receiving Supervisor - South Division** Location: Tillsonburg, ON **Why Join Marwood?** **_Who we are_**: - Marwood International Inc. is a full service, **award-winning**, Tier I and 2 automotive OEM structural components and modular assembly supplier, that focuses on waste elimination and light-weighting initiatives from prototypes to full volume products to end of life service parts **throughout Canada, US and Japan**. - Marwood is also a well-established **Canadian-owned** manufacturing company which have been in the industry for **30+** years - We are community oriented, and focused on health and wellness. **_We are happy to have you join our team_** **_We offer_**_: _ - Competitive Pay **plus** Premiums - **GREAT Benefits and Perks**: dental, medical and vision coverage, as well as outstanding pension plan and more - Also, company provided uniforms - Due to Marwood's growth you will have an opportunity for **over-time after 40 hours** **Your Role and Responsibilities** *_ Responsibilities: _* - Demonstrate accountability, drive and initiative in daily activities projects - Gather and present data to reach objective conclusions and solutions - Manage Customer portals for packing and container utilization open issues required including disputes and charges - Collaborate packing and containers needs/requirements with corporate packaging group - Use Plex for required shipping needs i.e. BOL etc. and PPPS pictures and communications - Professional, respectful and courteous in all forms of communication while enforcing discipline, conflict management, coaching and development - Use logical reasoning in day to day activities to make independent decisions to meet expectations of Production Manager while maintaining distance in working relationships, use maturity and confidentiality when dealing with delicate issues - Knowledge of industry, company, specific work area, and OHSA/Lean/6 Sigma/5S - Administrative skills; create, follow and enforce rules, policies, schedules and systems - Establish consistent and clear communication via Team Meetings / Shift Meetings to ensure all urgent matters are communicated to the proper departments as required - Easily get along with others, display eagerness and team work, ability to give and receive constructive criticism. - Coordinate manpower planning, time off approvals, provide ongoing feedback/coaching - Assist in the planning and implementation of continuous improvement of procedures - Identify training needs, provide training, implement training, and document this training (utilize "Team Support", MOS Review, formal training through Human Resources) - Facilitate daily start up meetings to discuss safety, quality, production etc. - Accurately complete and maintain all relevant and appropriate documents - Attend daily meetings and ensure daily shipment requirements are met on time - Assist in the development or revision of work practices, 5S and assist in Kaizen activities - Complete Performance Evaluations accurately and on time and Perform LPA's - Ensure non-conformances are contained & dispositioned at end of shift - Effectively complete 5Y's, CAR's Enforce - Ensure non-conformances on control cards are signed off & reports are completed **_Key Requirements_**_: (or Must to Have)_** - Grade 12, GED, or equivalent - 2 years related experience. **_Additional Technical and Professional Requirements_**_: _** - Computer efficiency skills in all required areas. - Post-secondary education or equivalent certificate - We are committed to giving people with disabilities an equal opportunity to provide feedback, and access any information they may need._ _Please advise if you require accommodation._
