**Hours of Work**:Monday to Friday Evening Shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm **(flexible for weekends OT if needed)
**Your mission**
The Production Team Leader is responsible to supervise the Surfacing team to ensure smooth production flow and take care of the day-to-day administrative and compliance aspects of a production laboratory.
**Your main challenges**
- Organize the production flow;
- Supervise the team; manage the breaks as well as the starting and ending time. Ensure that all the positions are covered, and if needed, request help to cover the position of someone on vacation or on sick leave;
- Ensure department cleanliness, make sure that the security measures are followed within the department;
- Train and supervise new employees;
- Ensure a positive and collaborative working environment;
- Distribute the working procedure to the employees and ensure that proper methodology is followed for each working station;
- Ensure awareness of production and employees concerns to the Supervisor;
- Compile and follow up time card on a daily basis;
- Fill in vacant positions in the production line;
- Perform other duties as required.
**Your profile**
- High school diploma;
- Experience in all the department’s positions;
- Good understanding of the work flow;
- Good understanding of the department’s KPIs;
- Analytical skill to resolve technical and organizational problems;
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly;
- Communication skills;
- Leadership;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
- English - spoken and written;
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial/production is preferred.
