Labourer - Sawyer

**Job Summary**

We are a small custom, mid to high end, cabinet shop looking for a team player. We require someone who is available Monday - Friday and willing to work over time when needed. The job is a temporary position with the possibility that it may turn into full time employment.

As the successful applicant for the position of Sawyer you will have the opportunity to work with current optimizing software and a digital sliding table saw. We will provide in house training as required.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- cutting material for custom and box departments
- review cut lists for custom cabinets and components
- maintenance and recording of blade rotation
- empty dust collector
- set up and calibration of saw
- edge tape material
- daily machine maintenance
- help deliver cabinets when necessary
- cleaning work area and shop
- other duties as required for the production of custom woodcrafting

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Has reliable transportation
- Has experience in the woodworking industry
- Has experience on table saw and other woodworking machinery
- Has general knowledge of Auto Cad/shop drawings and cut lists
- The ability to physically handle the workload of full-time labour
- Good work ethic and attitude

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
