What You Will Do:

- Complete daily inspections of product
- Operate the forging machine
- Perform minor setup adjustments
- Grind rods as required
- Assist the crane operator to hook up loads for machine
- Complete associated paperwork as required
- Perform all daily maintenance on forge machine and forge arm
- Follow all rules, regulations and legislation
- Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

Position Details:

- Permanent
- Full-time
- Shift rotates every 3-4 weeks between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
- Weekends may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

- Reliable
- Attention to detail
- Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English

Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in CNC programming considered an asset
- Understanding of Vernier and measuring equipment considered an asset
