**What You'll Do**:

- **Create Culinary Magic**: Prepare and deliver meals that meet general and individual dietary needs with flair and precision.
- **Follow the Recipe for Success**: Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and food preparation guidelines as directed by our dietary services management and dieticians.
- **Serve with a Smile**: Ensure meals are presented beautifully, taste exceptional, and adhere to nutritional plans.

**Qualifications**:

- **Qualified Chef**: You have a Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma or Certificate, or a Certificate of Qualification as a Cook from a recognized program.
- **Experienced Professional**: Previous experience cooking in a long-term care setting is a must.
- **Team Player**: Enjoys working in a collaborative, care-focused environment.
- **Communicator**: Able to communicate effectively in English, including written documentation.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- **Master Meal Prep**: Follow established routines and prepare meals according to departmental standards and individual dietary requirements.
- **Ensure Quality & Safety**: Maintain high standards in food quality, taste, presentation, and safety. Keep the kitchen spotless and adhere to all sanitation practices.
- **Stay Efficient & Flexible**: Work at a steady pace, manage meal preparation times, and adapt to staffing needs as required.
- **Promote Safe Practices**: Follow all safety regulations, report incidents, and assist with inventory management.
