Logistics Coordinator

Contrans Tank Group in looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Perth.

**Specific Duties**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment to appropriate locations or tank washes according to our customer requests, specifications, or needs
- Ensure all drivers and owner operators are fully utilized and monitor their progress throughout the month to ensure Contrans Tank is meeting up to the driver and owner operator expectations
- Enter orders into our TMS and confirm that proper information accompanies the order based on customer requirements
- Work closely with customer service to address customer questions or concerns in order to provide the service and satisfaction our customers require
- Abiding by Canada/U.S. transportation regulations on a provincial/state, and federal level
- Communicate effectively with drivers, co-workers, and customers and adhere to the company’s communication policy
- After hours phone calls as needed
- Other duties as required

**Education/Experience**
- Post-secondary education in business or logistics
- 2-5 years dispatching is a benefit
- Understanding of basic transportation regulation both in U.S. and Canada i.e. weight restrictions, hours of service.

**Salary**: $56,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- Logistics / Dispatch: 2 years (preferred)
