Dishwasher & Custodian

_**elle cuisine**_is looking for a reliable dishwasher to join our team to assist with dishwashing, maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen, and helping keep our inventory organized.

**Daily duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Daily dishwashing of all dishes
- Daily & weekly cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Report any broken equipment to the Facilities Manager
- Sweep and mop floors in dishpit, kitchen, equipment, fridge, dry storage, washrooms, and garage areas. Make sure dark spots on the floor are scrubbed away daily
- Clean washrooms and offices.
- Bring out green bin, recycling and garbage. Clean and sanitize bins
- Break down boxes and put in a tidy pile out by recycling
- Clean out all sinks & stainless steel counters
- Maintain the dishwashing machine by testing heat and pH levels daily and by reporting any problems immediately or if we are running low on chemicals
- May be asked to assist with cleaning company vehicles
- Help to unload and load vehicles for events. As well as assist with unpacking event equipment.

**Other information**:

- Dishwasher must report to Kitchen Manager, Operations Manager, or lead kitchen staff member that day
- Staff lunch is usually provided on day shifts.

Availability on weekdays and weekends preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience preferred.

Job Duties:

- Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Other duties as requested
