**Civil Site EIT**
We are a well-established, specialized construction company, with a vision to be a leading provider of piling solutions in Western Canada. Our core business is piling and shoring installations for a variety of infrastructure, industrial, commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a permanent, full time, on site civil engineer (EIT or P.Eng.), a civil engineering technologist, or equivalent to join our construction team.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- All site related planning and co-ordination
- Collection, collation, tracking of pile installation records
- Performing BC One Calls, monitoring for potential utilities and obstructions
- Liaising with the client and client representatives
- Frequent communication and planning with crews
- Providing daily/weekly updates and production rates to the project manager
- Site and long term scheduling
- Extra work orders
- Change order preparation and tracking
- Monthly invoicing
- Performing the occasional physical labour and assistance - The goal is to limit physical labour for this job, however sometimes we as mangers have to pitch in just to get things done
- Your initial project is approximately 2-3 months long and located in Surrey, after which you would either work in the office or move on to the next site project depending on project load
- You will report to the Senior Project Manager
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Civil Engineer (EIT or P.Eng), Civil Engineering Technologist or an equivalent degree
- 1-2 year of experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
- Labour experience considered an asset
- Operator experience considered an asset
- Problem-solving
- Punctual and reliable
- Shows initiative
- C2 level English required
- Have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Located in the Greater Vancouver Area

- Hourly wage of $28.00-37.00/hour commensurate with experience
