**Position Scope**

As **Millwright**your role is to provide mechanical equipment maintenance service and support to Pilot and Innovation Plant Operations. Your primary focus will be to assist Plant Operations by maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical equipment including motors, pumps, valves, evaporators, fans and other related equipment. As an innovation center, CE frequently updates processes through modifications and upgrades. While millwrights primarily focus on maintenance, they are also expected to support the MOC process and contribute their expertise to construction activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Proactively communicate roadblocks and take initiative to resolve issues quickly to keep work progressing toward completion.
- Carry out preventive and condition-based maintenance equipment with a focus on mechanical process maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Operations Engineering Team in designing and planning of plant modifications.
- Support Operation’s access and activities by helping prepare equipment for flushing, cleanouts, and inspections by removing manways, pipe spools and flanges.
- Lead the mechanical installation of new equipment and provide support during commissioning of new equipment.
- Participate in maintenance program reviews updating tasks and schedules for maintenance on mechanical equipment and other plant hardware.
- Identify, develop, install, and implement upgrades on existing equipment.
- Support critical lift tasks related to crane lifts and relevant activities.
- Complete work orders as assigned while ensuring detailed notes are recorded for future reference.
- Provide specialist support to modification and upgrade of electromechanical systems.
- Carry out fabrication, welding and pipe fitting work as required in support of engineered changes.
- Provide specialist maintenance input to plant design reviews at all lifecycle stages.
- Identify, capture and communicate lessons learned and implement solutions where appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Provide specialist support to Engineering and Operations in the development of new equipment layout and installation.
- Foster and maintain a positive culture within the Maintenance Team by promoting effective teamwork.
- Mentor junior maintenance staff and other employees to foster a safe workplace and teach best practices associated with mechanical maintenance.
- Carry out site tours as required for third party inspections and certifications of equipment as required.
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to guide mechanical troubleshooting, repairs and to communicate “As found/As left” details for PM/SM and novel work order requests.
- CMMS maintenance and updates. Review and confirm accuracy of manuals and asset details. Identify and resolve issues with asset documentation saved in the system.
- Complete assigned facility/office upgrades when required.
