Legal Public School includes grades from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4. The school is located at 5109-46 Street in Legal, Alberta.

**FTE**: 0.3 FTE; 9.75 hrs/week; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings; Part-Time Permanent

**Duties**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will assist the teacher in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

**Qualifications & Experience**: Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate is required; CPR and First Aid are desirable. Experience working with students with Down Syndrome and in toileting/diapering is essential. Preference given to applicants with positive behaviour supports and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Understanding how to utilize PODD to support students would be an asset. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
