Janitorial Staff

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize gym equipment, weights, and machines after each use to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the gym, including workout areas, locker rooms, hallways, and bathrooms.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, steam rooms and floors, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Wipe down windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Empty trash bins regularly and replace liners in all areas.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and materials are stocked and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with any special cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor or management team.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Monitor and ensure that gym cleanliness is maintained throughout the day, adjusting tasks as needed during peak hours.
- Assist Spartan coaches in setting up the room for the next day

**Qualifications**:

- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in a gym or fitness center setting.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
