**Position Title**: Corporate Development Representative

**Reports to**:Accounts Manager

**Department**:Corporate Development

**Position Summary**

The Corporate Development Specialist is responsible for managing and developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients through promoting KBL’s services. You will have direct contact with our clients and be responsible for a variety of duties needed to support our teams in obtaining business through the sales and marketing of KBL’s services into key existing and target accounts.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Business Development & Sales Strategy**
- Assist with the development of sales plans and strategies for achieving the company’s VTO sales goals to support 1-, 3-, and 10-year plans.
- Develop new client opportunities, including cross-marketing KBL’s services and collaborating with internal teams.
- Consistently meet and exceed annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Define sales processes that drive desired outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and activity reporting in the assigned CRM software.
- Support activities related to major proposals.
- Develop and support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and new business lines.

**Client Identification & Relationship Management**
- Identify and target key clients in strategic markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term engagement and client retention.
- Assist with collections by maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding accounts.
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the leadership team and other company functions.
- Mentor others in the organization on business development best practices.

**Client Feedback & Post-Project Engagement**
- Conduct post-project surveys and gather client feedback to improve service offerings.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer experience based on client feedback.
- Work with internal teams to address and resolve any client concerns or complaints.

**Marketing & Industry Engagement**
- Represent and promote KBL at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Utilize technical expertise to develop presentations and proposals for clients.
- Support KBL’s marketing efforts, including social media, website content, and promotional materials.

**Revenue Growth & Financial Performance**
- Strategize, track, and achieve goals for regional and corporate revenue and profit.
- Identify business growth opportunities and assist in securing strategic partnerships.
- Work with finance and accounts teams to ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.

**Physical Requirements**

This position is office based but will require local travel to meet clients, attend KBL site visits and attend regional conferences.

**Working Environment**

Position requires some travel periodically.

**Qualifications**
- Position requires a high level of initiative and a positive attitude
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales or environmental services client related industries
- Excellent communication skills
- Personal vehicle
- Independent worker, with competitive nature
- Strong commitment to safety and understanding of behaviour based safety culture
- Must be able to balance multiple priorities and delegate tasks accordingly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
