**ICE CREAM MAKER**

Village Ice Cream is on an exciting journey to find Seasonal Ice Cream Makers for all five of our store locations: Bridgeland (Part-Time), Britannia Plaza (Full-Time), Garrison Corner (Part-Time), University District (Part-Time), and Victoria Park (Full-Time & Part-Time) As a recognized member of, and advocate for the communities we serve, we’re looking for someone who is collaborative, a skilled communicator, and has a passion for food and cooking. As Ice Cream Maker, you will work hard producing high volumes of ice cream, pints, and inclusion production. In any given week, Ice Cream Makers are working to fun tunes while churning out large batches of ice cream and getting early previews and tastes of upcoming seasonal flavours. You’re amazing at this role if the people in your life would describe you as someone who goes above and beyond, organized, adaptive, and efficient. **As Ice Cream Maker with Village Ice Cream, you will**:

- Follow recipes to produce between 24 batches of ice cream a day
- Prepare ingredients and produce homemade bases, and inclusions such as hot fudge, caramel sauces, vanilla syrup, etc.
- Accurately track inventory of buckets, pints, toppings, and bases to inform the daily production plan
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the team including the Back of House, Front of House, and Leadership Team
- Excel at multi-tasking and communicating
- Thoughtfully complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean and organized
- Follow Company policies as well as proper food health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

- Are willing to learn and follow instructions with precision as well as give great attention to detail
- Can stand up to eight hours and can lift 50lbs repeatedly
