We are currently looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative with litho print experience. This position is responsible for managing orders through all phases of manufacturing and to ensure that all of the customers’ requirements are being properly fulfilled at all times.

**When your actions lead to success.**:

- Act as a liaison between clients and the Sales Account Manager, being the key contact for clients on a daily basis for all production issues
- Compare order specifications from Sales Account Manager to the job estimate to determine if the order is as quoted or if re-pricing is necessary
- Create impositions for prepress and press, mock-ups for all elements of finishing (i.e. die cutting, trimming, folding, stitching, ink jet, latex, etc.) Manage and coordinate all aspects of the order through production and fulfillment
- Verify client’s product at various stages; check pre-press proofs and samples to ensure that the customer’s requirements have been met
- Review production details to ensure additional information such as material due date and outside purchases are dealt with proactively during the production flow
- Create, review and distribute purchasing and production instructions, documents and proofs as required and prioritize scheduling to ensure requirements are executed in a timely manner
- Preflight and brief applicable departments based on complexities of the printing and finishing of the project; host preplan meetings when necessary
- Co-ordinate the purchase and scheduling of all outside services and materials using a proprietary accounting system
- Attend and participate in daily production meetings to review job status and changes that have occurred or are pending
- Prepare final billing information within 72hrs of final shipments
- Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental’s code of ethics and participate in the Continuous Improvements efforts
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Company policies and procedures
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario, the Workplace Safety Insurance Act and all other applicable legislated environmental, health & safety regulations

**When your expertise drives us.**:

- Post-secondary education and a minimum Five (5) years related experience of the printing and direct mail industries
- knowledge sheet-fed press
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of production post-press finishing (cutting, folding, die-cutting, saddle stitching, laser, lettershop, and POD) digital production workflow an asset.
