We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Server/Bartender to join our team at a IKKI sake bar. Our establishment is known for its wide selection of sake, sake bombs, creative cocktails, and Japanese fusion tapas. As a Server/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experiences for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Willingness to learn about sake, sake bombs, cocktails, and Japanese fusion tapas, offering recommendations and answering guests' questions regarding the menu.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Create an engaging and lively atmosphere by interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Proactively anticipate guests' needs and preferences, offering personalized suggestions to enhance their overall experience.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, using the point-of-sale system in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and alcohol service guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and fellow team members.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.

**Requirements**:

- Proserve certification.
- Previous experience as a server and bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of sake, cocktails, and various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and preparation methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple orders and requests simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient service without compromising quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and familiarity with Japanese sake is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
