**Now Hiring a Medical Equipment Reprocessing Technician (Winnipeg, MB)**

As a Medical Equipment Reprocessing Technician you have a strong mechanical aptitude paired with a willingness to ensure all patient equipment is in good working order. You enjoy working with electronics and customers, making a positive impression, troubleshooting their requests, and ultimately, providing them exceptional customer service support. You love working in the details, are mechanically inclined, and can manage your time well under pressure. Most importantly, you have a warm personality and enjoy the rewards of helping a client to ensure they are experiencing the best care possible.

**As a Medical Equipment Reprocessing Technician, you will**:

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment utilizing your mechanical skillset to troubleshoot and repair medical equipment as required including CPAP and Home Sleep Test units;
- Prepare the Level 2 and Level 3 home sleep test kits for patient tests;
- Upload the completed tests into the manufacturer’ portals;
- Maintain and input client information into our patient record software and relevant databases and always protect the confidentiality of their personal and medical information;
- Ensure the accurate and timely input of information, and order parts using a variety of automated systems;
- Reprocess and set up home sleep testing devices and CPAP devices for patient tests and prescriptions;
- Repair machines and home sleep devices, as required;
- Ensure adequate inventory of home sleep test consumables**;**:

- Be willing to take on training and be open to development opportunities;
- Have a minimum Grade 12 education and 2 years’ experience in an electronic technician position. Being a Certified Technician with CTTAM considered an asset;
- Be well-versed in all Microsoft Office software;
- Have previous database management experience is considered an asset;
- Perform and assist with other warehouse duties as required;
- Have and maintain a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License and a clear driving abstract;
- Be willing to travel to different branch locations, customer sites when required;
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with appropriate lifting equipment and techniques;
- An ‘all clear’ status on the background checks required for the position;
- Proof of vaccination for COVID-19, as you will be working closely with vulnerable populations and operating under full vaccination requirements of customer sites.
