- Our Quality Inspector positions have a **wage range of $21-$23 **per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada** facility is looking for an experienced and energetic **Quality & Safety Inspector** to join our Quality & Safety department in Chilliwack, BC.

The Quality & Safety Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all materials and products that enters a company's production process meet the required quality standards. The role involves inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Quality & Safety Inspector is also responsible for identifying any defects or issues and communicating them to the appropriate personnel for correction.

**E**ssential functions for this role**:
**Quality**
- Reviewing the documentation provided with the shipment, performing visual inspections, and testing samples to ensure they meet specifications.
- Identifying defects or issues with materials or finished products and communicate these issues to the Quality & Safety Manager and writing reports and documenting findings.
- Provide administrative support to the Quality & Safety Manager in maintaining Company’s Quality Management System.

**Safety**
- Oversee the administrative functions of the Company’s Health and Safety Program to ensure compliance with applicable WorkSafe BC legislation and OH&S regulations.
- Ensure that Safety record keeping, and reporting is scheduled and maintained.
- Schedule, Facilitate and Record safety training programs.

**If you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you**
- Experience or knowledge of glass inspections is an asset.
- Experience developing ISO/WorkSafeBC documentations.
- Lean manufacturing experience and or certification.
- 2-5 Years experience in high-paced Manufacturing Environment.
- Post-secondary education.
- Certification to conduct inspections, such as NDT is an asset.
- ISO internal auditor training is an asset.
- Knowledge of Weld procedures, welder logs and weld testing.
- Familiar with Geometrical Tolerancing & Dimensional Check Principles.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Self-directed, well organized, innovative, excellent written and verbal skills.
- Require the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Solutions and results driven to drive program improvement.
