Our nursery school is a warm, nurturing and fun environment that promotes each child's development, well-being and sense of belonging. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and follow guidelines and requirements set out in the Child Care and Early Years Act. Our program is unique in the sense that we are co-operative in nature and thrive on the active involvement of our parents, alongside our trained educators. We offer a morning program (9:15am-12:15pm) for children 2.5-6 year old. We are a preschool committed to physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth and development of children through a quality play-based program.

Supply position is available.

Early Childhood Educators Specific Skills:

- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members

Credentials:

- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Vulnerable Police Reference Check
- Registered Early Childhood Certificate is considered an asset
