Seeking a current veterinary technician student to work in a high-paced general practice and emergency veterinary clinic as a Tech Assistant for the summer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with handling/restraining of animals for exams & procedures.
- Work with the team to keep the clinic clean & organized.
- Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes & feeding and watering animals.
- Properly positioning & handling animals for x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, IV catheter placement etc.
- Restocking supplies & putting supplies orders away.
- When time allows, observing procedures & practicing tech skills as appropriate for your education level.

**Requirements**:

- Must be a current veterinary technologist student.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $19.17 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
