**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities. Conduct regular checks of the facility to ensure all doors, windows, and entrances are secure.
- Verify credentials of individuals entering the facility, including employees, visitors, and vendors. Enforce access control policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, or security incidents. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals on-site.
- Assist in implementing emergency response plans and procedures. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary during critical incidents.
- Utilize CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the facility. Report any suspicious behavior or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
- Aid and guidance to patients, visitors, and staff as needed. Act as a friendly and approachable presence, offering support and reassurance to those within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, including detailed incident reports. Complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other members of the security team and various departments within the healthcare facility to address security concerns and maintain a cohesive approach to safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License and CPR/First Aid
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proven security experience in the healthcare industry would be an asset.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect and respond to security threats effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Pay - 19.00**

**Schedule: Continental Days (1130 - 2330)**
