Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Follow direction of site foreman or task supervisor
- Basic daily individual safety paperwork (FLHAs)
- Work at heights from EWP & structure beyond EWP
- Follow all OH&S requirements as well as site specific safety regulations
- Identify safe work practices and report all unsafe conditions and acts to supervisor
- Identify various building components
- Familiarity and capability with rigging techniques for steel erection
- Utilize crane to hoist and install structural steel
- Installation of standing seam roof panels
- Installation of metal wall cladding panels
- Installation of various trim components for cladding and roofing package

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in MBSE
- Positive attitude, self-starter with the desire to achieve
- Ability to communicate, follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work in all types of weather for extended periods
- G class drivers license and own vehicle (asset but not req'd)
- Understanding of job site health and safety procedures and practices
- Ability to work at heights for extended periods
- Ability to work with crew of 6 people in a teamwork atmosphere
- Basic work boots, hard hat, and personal tools
- EWP, AT Forklift, first aid, fall protection training will be viewed as a strong asset but not always required. (Training will be provided in these areas if deemed necessary)

Note: Welding experience is not relevant to this position.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Pre-engineered Building Erection: 1 year (preferred)
- MBSE apprenticeship: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Fall Arrest Training (required)
- Driver's License (required)
