Flatdeck Dispatcher

We are a rapidly growing transportation company seeking a professional **Truck Dispatcher** with **proven, hands-on experience** dispatching Flat-deck, Step-deck, Rolltites, and Low boy equipment. **Only applicants with genuine, verifiable flat-bed dispatching experience will be considered.** This is **NOT** a training role. Short courses or crash programs in dispatching do **not** meet the requirements for this position.

**List of Responsibilities for dispatcher**:

- Assign and coordinate loads for drivers across Canada and the U.S.
- Prepare and process customs documentation, E-Manifests, and packing lists using BorderConnect
- Enter and manage load information in Xpert dispatch software
- Monitor driver progress and provide real-time updates to customers
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to resolve scheduling and routing issues
- Plan and arrange cost-effective and timely shipping routes
- Dispatch LTL and FTL pickups/deliveries within deadlines
- Monitor driver log sheets to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and update changes regularly
- Monitor equipment maintenance to reduce operational costs
- Optimize equipment utilization
- Handle customer inquiries with strong logistics knowledge
- Prepare contracts, freight rates, and other required shipping documents

**Requirements**:

- Must be a team player
- Must be affluent in English (No Exceptions) - Affluence in Punjabi is an added asset
- Proficency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
