**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to and working closely with a Management Team, the Junior Bookkeeper will be responsible for the implementation of bookkeeping processes for segments of the Aral Group of companies whose operations include Commercial Construction and Equipment Rentals. Each company within the group operates independently, however collaborate to maximize productivity and efficiency.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- implementation (including data entry) of all bookkeeping processes, including (but not limited to): payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
- preparation of government remittances including source deductions, GST, PST, Worksafe BC, Employer Health Tax and corporate tax instalments

**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- minimum Associate degree or relevant certificate in Accounting; Bachelors in Accounting ideal
- minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- demonstrated SAGE 50 Accounting skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- industry experience is an asset

**COMPENSATION**
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Hourly wage range $23-$27
