Dog Walker/pet Sitter

We focus heavily on enrichment in various forms of activities to foster a better overall experience for the clients’ pets.

We use Fear Free methods which aims to reduce stress and anxiety while promoting a safe environment for the pets, helping their overall physical and emotional well-being.

We provide a range of services from: Puppy visits, Dog Walking, Cat & Dog Enrichment, Litter scooping and other ancillary services like administering of medications.

While clients are at work or away from home, you’ll be responsible for driving to clients' homes, providing various pet care services using an app on your phone to check in and out, as well as writing small informative notes to the client including providing a cute picture of the pet cared for so that our clients know how their pets are doing while in our care.

Please note: A typical walk includes 1 to 2 dogs, from time to time this may include up to 4 dogs

**Requirements**:

- Have a dog friendly car, valid driver’s license, and insurance
- Love both cats and dogs
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Feel comfortable walking both big and small dogs
- Can work some of the major holidays
- Must be comfortable walking outdoors in all types of weather situations
- Not employed or contracted through any other dog walking agency or pet company
- Able to provide a criminal/background check
- Able to work a flexible schedule, Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 10am-2pm, including occasional weekends and evenings
- Can work some of the majoy holidays
- Own a smart phone, take clear pictures and be familiar with phone Apps

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
