As the Banquet Houseperson, reporting to the Banquet Manager, your ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach ensures the efficient and effective arrangement of event rooms and provide outstanding food & beverage service to our members and guests during all Banquet functions, while setting the example for other members of the Banquet team.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the banquet event room set-up according to client requests and Banquet standards
- Actively recognize and greet members and guests by name
- Complete all meeting and function set ups in accordance with BEO, Catering Office and or Supervisor direction
- Ensure standards for cleanliness, and presentation are met for all set ups
- Carry houseman phone; responding to all member and guest requests with a sense of urgency
- Competent and knowledgeable of Audio Visual requirements and set ups
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of pantries, storage and service areas is maintained at all times
- Properly maintain and store F&B equipment, china, cutlery and glassware
- Assist with general service and preparation in the Club as directed

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous F&B serving experience in high-end property, hotel or restaurant preferred
- Knowledge of private club services, rules and regulations an asset
- Positive attitude and courteous disposition; familiar to guest service in a fast-paced environment; with proven ability to provide consistent, detailed, anticipative service
- Reference knowledge of other services offered in the Club, Pub and Hotel
- Exceptional attention to detail; well organized; task and time efficient
- Talented communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a high level of dedication; willingness to get involved
- Impeccable grooming standards; polished personal image
- Applied knowledge of the Club’s health and safety procedures
