49 Solutions is looking for a Tester Consultant to support Health Canada and the Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) to help Canadians make health choices by modernizing business efficiency and coordinating Information Technology (IT) systems and departmental strategies on the Pharmacovigilance and Materiovigilance IT Plan Initiatives and Programs. If this sounds like a good fit for you, and you are available for the opportunity, kindly reach out with your CV and I would be happy to discuss next steps Please feel free to pass on this posting to anyone you think might be a good fit; but don't forget to ask about our referral program if you do. **Requirements**: **Deliverables** - Testing scripts - Testing plans - Test scenarios - Reporting of status - Testing procedures - Compliance report **Tasks** - Test planning and coordination. - Supervision of testing in accordance with the plan. - Management and monitoring of test plans for all levels of testing. - Management of walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness. - Status reporting. - Development of test scenarios and test scripts. - Establishing and maintaining source and object code libraries for a multi-platform, multi-operating system environment. - Establishing software testing procedures for unit test, integration testing and regression testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures. - Establishing and operating "interoperability" testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards (e.g., For performance, compatibility, etc.) and have no unforeseen detrimental effects on the shared infrastructure. - Establishing a validation and verification capability which assumes functional and performance compliance. **Requirements**: - Valid Reliability Security Clearance - 9+ years as a Tester in the science-based and/or healthcare sector - Must have 9+ years of experience as a Tester in Pharmacovigilance and/or Materiovigilance - Completed a post secondary education of at least four (4) full-time semesters in: - Computer Science - Engineering - Computer Studies - Computer Science Or - Completed certification for: - Certification: Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) - Certification: ISTQB - Advanced Level - Test Analyst - Certification: ISTQB - Advanced Level - Test Manager - Certification: CSTE: Certified Software Tester - Certification: CMST: Certified Manager of Software Testing - Certification: CSQA: Certified Software Quality Analyst - Certification: CMSQ: Certified Manager of Software Quality - Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
