**Maintenance Helper**

Western Archrib is looking for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance Team. This entry level position will be based out of our new Sturgeon County production facility.

We have two production facilities to serve the needs of every client.

In this role, you will provide support to skilled tradespeople and maintenance technicians by performing a variety of tasks to maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow your career in a hands-on environment.

**Some duties will include but not limited to**:

- Helping millwrights, electricians, and other tradespeople as needed.
- Transporting tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.
- Lubricating and cleaning various equipment.
- Keeping the maintenance area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Disposing of used parts and materials properly.
- Participating in training sessions to improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Familiarizing with plant-specific processes, machinery, and safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Clear and effective communicator in English, both spoken and written.
- Reliable and persistent with a desire to develop new skills and advance within the maintenance field.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with tools and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.

**Work Schedules**
- Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm. Overtime may be required on occasion.

**Compensation**
- Wage will start at $20.00/hour. Wage will be evaluated and increased with more training, competency, and progression with the company.
