**Job Posting: Private Female Caregiver - In-Home Care for Male Client**

**Overview**
We are currently seeking a **compassionate, self-motivated Female Private Caregiver** to support a **male client in his & his wife's home**. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, engaging, and experienced in providing care to seniors with dementia. **Nursing students (Year 3 or higher)** with hands-on experience are **welcome to apply**.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Female caregiver with experience in dementia care
- Nursing student (Year 3+) or experienced private caregiver
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor

**Shift Schedule**:

- **Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday**: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM (7 hours)
- **Saturday or Sunday**: 5-6 hour shift (day and time to be discussed)

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide compassionate care to individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia or disabilities.
- Support nursing staff by reporting changes in patient conditions and assisting with medical procedures as needed.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Engage patients in social activities to promote mental well-being and emotional support.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist patients in mobility or transfers.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

**Skills**
- Experience in dementia care is highly desirable.
- Strong background in patient care within nursing homes or assisted living environments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including meal preparation and personal hygiene assistance.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
