**OVERVIEW**:
Our Human Resources department has a key role in supporting, developing, and empowering our employees within a culture of excellence that enables us to provide an exceptional customer experience to all of our members.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Align compensation approaches with business needs by providing recommendations and solutions to drive effective talent attraction, development and retention.
- Support the planning and the execution of the annual compensation cycles, including base salary and incentive plans.
- Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in the job market.
- Conduct job analysis and job evaluation to determine salary ranges.
- Support the maintenance of compensation and job evaluation framework and policies.
- Recommend and administer pay changes in line with established company compensation guidelines and philosophy.
- Process, monitor, and report on compensation related actions in Workday.
- Maintain compensation configuration in Workday.
- Participate in industry surveys, data analysis and interpretation of result.
- Participate in and preform audits of HR and compensation data and processes.
- Participate in compensation and related process and program reviews, and recommend changes to support operational and program efficiencies.
- Provide compensation analytics and metrics.
- Work on other compensation related projects as required and perform other related duties as assigned.
**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources and/or Compensation, or directly related experience.
- Experience in a compensation analyst or HR generalist position with a solid understanding of compensation process and practices.
- Strong analytical and job design skills.
- Expertise with compensation functional areas of human resources information systems, specifically Workday, would be an asset.
- Experience working with sensitive data and a high degree of discretion at all levels within the company.
- Strong knowledge in Excel and an understanding of database reporting would be an asset.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Must possess strong problem solving, organizational skills, time management and the ability to multitask.
